Where to get optic cut for Glock slide?

Does anyone know a good shop with quick turn around? Maybe even local?

    Quick? Buy a cut slide.

Cutting the slide takes time. If you want it refinished, that adds more time.

Sent mine off to Battle Werx and after 5 weeks, it's coming back tomorrow.

I use C & H Precision Weapons. Lead time was around 4 weeks for them.

Does that make it more customized to your gun...or am off?
It's just faster. Instead of sending your slide off and waiting 4-5 weeks. You can buy a pre-milled slide and drop it onto your pistol. Obviously, you end up with two slides but if you are in a hurry and/or want lightening cuts, etc., it is an option.

I recently sent my Glock slide to JagerWerks. Their current lead time is 4-8 weeks depending on a particular refinishing is opted. Wanted to go with a reputable machine shop confidently knowing it'll get done right and in absolutely no hurry to get my slide back.

I used Mapleleaf Firearms and it was a good price and quick enough turn around plus he does custom stuff like iron sights forward and I even got a set of sights through him for a good price. If you are using something other than a Trijicon, you need to have it cut for that particular red dot, all the ones on Ebay that come pre milled are done for the Trijicons.

and with CH Precision, you can have a non-MOS Glock be milled as a Glock MOS.

which means, if you get the OEM plates from Glock (or the more sturdier ones from CH) - you'd be able to switch optics...

It's a good thing you included your location so we know what "local" means. Some silly folks don't.

I sent my slide to Dynamic Weapons Solution 2- 2.5weeks ago, it's supposed to be delivered to me Thursday. I heard of them through a mutual acquaintance and have heard good things. So far I am very happy with pricing, as well as communication. I am anxious to see the slide work....

I had my G34 cut by them for an RMR early last year. I sent the complete slide, new sights and RMR to have it all laser aligned. Took about 4 weeks to get back, went with cerakote instead of nitride which would have added to wait time. Fit an finish is phenomenal and zero they did was perfect when test firing after receiving it. I highly recommend them and will definitely be sending more pistols their way when I get more red dots.

+1 for Jagerwerks if you decide sending your slide out. I had a slide milled by them about 6 years ago and they do quality cuts. They are a lot busier now...worth the wait if you can be without your gun for a bit.

What is the usual charge to get a slide cut for a RMR?
