    Glock mod

    A friend posted this pic of his glock on his Facebook. Not sure what state he's in.

    Besides anything else. Is this ca legal?

      Could be construed as a forward grip. Ugly and useless for sure.

          It creates a "second handgrip", which is a restricted feature on semi-auto pistols that do not have a fixed magazine. [PC 30515(a)(4)(B)]

          A "second handgrip" is any grip or textured surface, that is not the pistol's main grip, that can be utilized by the non-trigger hand to assist in stablizing or controlling the pistol.

          Therefore...

          It is CA legal on a semi-auto pistol with a fixed 10 round magazine.

          It is CA illegal on a semi-auto pistol that does not have a fixed magazine.


          Side note...
          Why would you want to put this airsoft attachment on a firearm?

                      To attach to your airsoft pistol, so that it can be used as a second grip and it provides a place to store a spare magazine, in addition it provides two accessory rails for other attachments.
