People modify 1911's, too. Heaven forbid someone want to custom tailor a piece for their own needs. Granted, most people will be nowhere near to outperforming the mechanical accuracy of their pistols.sigpic

It amazes me people bag on glocks. Really, out of the box reliability, nothing at all wrong w them. For comfort in the hand, natural aim, beating someone to death with a big piece of steel when you run dry, you can’t beat a 1911. It isn’t the same horse though. Show me a 600$ 1911 that will shoot 2000k rounds without being cleaned like a Glock and just as importantly, is so simple anyone with an iq over 100 can learn it and be safe with it in a couple hours and I’ll buy six.
And I LOVE a 1911, if you gave ME one gun that would be it. If you told me to pick one gun for end of the world for my wife and kids and everyone else it would be a Glock 19.
Does 1911 > Glock. Of course, that’s what the Lord carries. Just don’t try pretending glocks are ****. And don’t get started on 45>9mm. My wife doesn’t even like guns and she’ll tell you if you need to use mm to measure you already lost
