Glock 26 UPK, will g19 work?

I just bought a gunslinger armory g26 slide in multicam, its a BEAUTY. Im going to drop it on my g27 frame as an alternative to 40cal.

But i dont have a g26 specific UPK. I looked at the slide compared to my 19 and it looks like the parts will work? Just the firing pin group, recoil spring, ejector and plunger.

Im already using the Tungstun guiderod from my g27 which fits perfect. I also test fit a g19 barrel and it works, i like the extra .5 for accuracy and with my kydex it doesnt poke my thigh or nads.

Yes as long as the extractor cut is the same.

You will need to change the ejector in the trigger housing to a 9mm.

If your G19 is a the recoil spring and guide for the G19 won't fit. Use the G27 spring assembly, although it may be to strong and result in short stroking.

Just got her almost finished, shes looking extra sexy. The cerakote job from Gunslingers is great. For the meantime im rocking a g19 barrel because i dont have a g26 barrel. Im eventually installing matching silver slide catch, mag release and extended slide stop along with night sights. I have a pyramid trigger with matching silver shoe as well but im still torn about installing a light comp trigger on an EDC. Plus i like that stock glock trigger.

I used a tungsten guide rod that said on the package g26/27 it was the one i used with the .40 27 slide for a while helped keep the snap down.

What is short stroking, i havent shot the 26 conversion yet but hope to shortly.

You should be fine if you already have a non oem guide rod. Short stroking is where the recoil spring is to heavy and won't allow the slide to recoil enough to strip the next round from the magazine.

As I said before you will need a different ejector. The ejector is located in the trigger housing. You will need a 9mm.The 9mm ejectors you can use are #336, 30274 or the latest 47021 All will work though. Right now ejectors are in short supply. Especially the later 30274 and the 47021
