    Missed opportunity

I was doing a ppt yesterday at my local shop, and standing in front of a case with 2 big revolvers, a m&p compact .40 and something I couldn't see. A guy walks up next to me and says " I'll take that Dan Wesson Pointman 7"! I have wanted one for years and it was right next to me AND I had the cash in hand. I feel like Charlie Brown, I am a blockhead.

Ps_ it wasn't there a few days ago!

    Bummer!

I had a counter guy slide in front of me once. A lady wanted to sell and old but unused Mark ?? I should have spoken up as soon as I saw it.

Dude bought it in seconds after he saw it.

I recently found a super rare 2014 chrysler 300 SRT premium that popped up on cargurus while i was five minutes away. It was priced at only 27k, (its condition and mileage easily worth 30+)

I race over to the dealership its 830pm and they are about to close, im the first one there, the salesman says he cant start paperwork on it because its still in DMV inspection blah blah blha. I say cool, heres my number i want the car tmro morning.

I get a text next morning the car was sold. F()CKERY!!! I was so angry, ive been searching for a clean 2014 premium SRT (less than 1000 made) for a year, i literlly had it, was first in line, etc. I argued with the salesman, tried to overbid, they claim their used car guy severely undervalued the car, and CA law does not allow bidding like housing and real estate. One guy offered 32 and was turned down....BUT WAS I STILL NOT THE FIRST????? It didnt go to a salesman, but maybe a friend or something because i bet i see that car pop up again in a few weeks for 2-3k more.

I was pretty damn angry for two weeks. Still kind of burns me.

Either way, two weeks later i found a 2016 5.7 hemi (still pretty rare compared to the glut of v6 rentals), it was half the price and newer and cleaner with the 8spd.

I figure with the 15k i saved ill just buy more guns? Or swap a 6.4 in it and trick the insurance company into thinking i dont have an SRT LOL....

You’ll have another chance. Just be sure next time to know that every breath not spent on securing what you want, is a chance for a missed opportunity. But, this was as close as you can get.

                Depends on the price.
If it was overpriced, I wouldn't care.
