    XS Sights pics

Has anyone installed any of the xs sight products on their gun? So many people are saying they are the best thing since sliced bread, but they seem like they would look weird. If anyone has pics of their weapon with these sights installed please share.

Yes I have, but on my defense revolver, which is for 10 yards and less. Civilian shooting distances mirror police and typical confrontation distances is 3-7 yards. (ever see those licquor store robbery vids).

I just want to see a big front sight on the attacker....

You can't see too much of it, but it's the 625

The XS Big Dots do take some getting used to - have to learn to 'dot the I'. The Big Dots have worked for me, but YMMV.

+1, have them on my XD and they work. My wife's shooting has improved since switching.

Heres a few videos that might explain how they work.

I put them on my carry G19. Very fast target acquisition at the slight expense of grouping. The large front sight blocks alot more of the target but getting on target is silly fast and easy.

I have them on two XD's... a 5 in tactical 45acp and a compact 40... they take some getting used to... the dot is poa-poi at 7 yds.. but the bullet hits at 12 oclock at 15 yds and out... interesting... shoot it some...it is scary fast at short range and the night sight portion is very useful...

You might consider the standard dot, which is smaller than the big dot, yet larger than most sights.

One thing I noticed is, if you have a weaponlight, the bloom effect where the front sight blurs, is a bit worse than with standard sights. This may be just my perception though but with the sight being noticeably larger, it doesn't surprise me.
