CA DOJ Roster question

What's up guys!

So admittedly its been a few years since I looked at the roster. Last time i looked it listed the SKU or model numbers for each model. When I looked tonight none of the handguns have the model or sku listed anymore.

How are we supposed to order items online now? Are all variations of a model now included? I want to get a kimber K6S 2 inch and with panic buying everything is sold out locally so looking online just need to know what i can order.

Yes some handguns still have SKUs listed. Take a look at Springfield for instance, or Sig.

There are 13 Kimber K6S listed, including 7 2" models. They all have good descriptions that should leave no chance for mistake. If the one you are interested in fits the listed description, then your FFL will likely green light it.

It looks like the three main 2" models are there: DCR, DASA, and base Stainless, with various grip and sight options.

But always let your FFL approve the specific item you are looking at, before placing an order.

Yes thank you Skyhawk! I see the model...ie, stainless, brushed, dc and etc just trying to make sure the model now suffices. Last night I had the opportunity to order the model I wanted but I needed to make sure it was ok in ca and now it’s sold out so just trying to cover my bases going forward.

Well nothing has changed - some guns on the roster list SKUs and some don't, that is the way it has always been. When there is no SKU, the description is all you have to go on. Good luck with your search.
