Loving my Glock 17 Gen 3

I am surprised of my accuracy with Glock 17 Gen 3 at 15-yrds I get fist size groups. I have small hands the Glock 17 feels like grabbing onto a brick but I guess the longer barrel makes me more accurate than my CZ P-01, I get less muzzle rise, my CZ P-01 is snappier.

G19 would be a better fit as far as the hands but the G17 is a nice shooter that's for sure.

I like the Gen 4/Gen 5 Glocks for this reason. Without any backstrap installed, they have a smaller grip diameter compared to the Gen 3. Too bad they're not on the roster.

I agree.

I have a Gen 4 17 and that’s an accurate gun for me without a backstrap. The G3 G17 feels chunky but I can still shoot it.

The diameter of the grip on the Glock 17 and 19 is virtually identical. The only real difference is the grip on the 19 is bit shorter.

You need to compare your Glock 17 to a CZ SP-01 or a Glock 19 to a CZ P01.

I like the blocky grip of the Glock because I can apply more pressure against the grip with my support hand.

Actually people should compare the Glock 17 to Glock 19 to Glock 26. That is Glock Perfection. JMHO and Gaston's too.

I love my G17 more than my G19 so I got the Advantage Arms .22 Conversion Unit for the G17 Gen 3. My wife and daughter is loving the .22 and learning the Glock trigger.

This. What would make a difference is a Gen 4 or Gen 5 Glock, which has a short frame = shorter trigger reach

I forgot all about these .22 conversion kits. I just ordered one for our Gen 3 G19s (my wife and I both have G19s).
