    Engraved Model 29

Someone in my area is selling this engraved Model 29. Factory or done by a jeweler, or by bubba in his basement?

    Looks like a 29-10 factory engraved ($800-$1100).

I had considered buying one of those as well because the regular model 29 (4”) isn’t on roster but the factory engraved is.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

OP's mentioned example is a machine engraved not hand, hence the price. Generally speaking some people think factory engraved will hold value and command premium. True, but a machine engraved is not, it might sound/look fancy but it can also devalue as a run of the mill engraved piece is not popular or desirable and hard to move. I rather own a regular 29-10. Buy the machine engraved IF you like it for YOU personally.

When they had them buds was the cheapest game around for $999. Then tax and receiving and all the rest. If it’s in excellent or like new shape I’d think $900 is fair.

I picked it up this morning from the seller in the middle of rain and gloom so I didn't have much chance to look it over. It has a turn ring and has been fired but not much. Lock up is tight and has a great single action trigger pull.

                  Can't wait to shoot it!

Man up, and pull it on thru.
