SA 1911s

Been trying to find a SA 1911 (PX9151L specifically, but open to others) for a few months now with no luck. I put in an order with my LGS but they said it could take months (guy actually said more than 6 months). Is there anywhere local-ish that has them? I'm a few hours north of the Bay Area.

I'm definitely trying to get new. Already put a deposit down for one and my deposit is refundable so that's nice. May just try and pop in to the local shops every now and again and hope I get lucky.

Dang, it's tempting. The bad thing is my LGS charges $75 for transfers, so I may just be better off waiting to see if they get any other SA 1911s. I'm OK with waiting, just hopefully not too long. I think my LGS has received special order SA 1911s recently, so there's hope!

Yeah that's a bit confusing. I did indeed order the CA compliant version. I was also looking at the MC operator variant, but may just take what I can get in the next few months.

Put up a WTB listing here. That's what I did when I was looking for a Springfield Loaded 1911 in 9mm. I received several replies, and ended up purchasing this from a fellow CG'er:

Good taste OP. I recommend looking online everyday at multiple websites. Like dozens. Including guns.deals.com. A local gun shop might run into one but that would be a small net you are casting. You’ve got to really search far and wide right now. The Loaded SS 45 will be a lot easier to find than the MCO brand new. If you don’t mind dings and scratches, go used. I prefer my (expensive to me) 1911’s to be fresh when I get em’. Brand new. If you need any help finding these, let me know. I’d be happy to help.
