    Fail Zero 1911 Kits

    Does anyone have any experience with these kits and are they legal in the PRK?

    Unless you have an exemption, then you can not purchase the frame in the kit. It's not an approved handugn on the roster.

      The slide and receiver are Caspian, but I can't find Caspian on the list either.

        These are your options in legally bringing in a gun not on the stupid list.

        A LEO buys it who later decides that he doesn't like it and sells it to you.

        Find a Pachmyr Dominator Single Shot (they made one in many calibers including .308) or Springfield SASS and install it on your 1911 frame. The single shot bypasses the stupid requirement.

        Someone out of state buys one. Moves to cali and registers it. Then for some reason he later decides to sell it to you.
