If for for some reason I cannot bring two sellers together to perform a ppt, is it possible to do a ppt as a buyer one right after the other? Can I do another ppt even if the first gun is still in jail? TIA

The 1 in 30 day wait on handguns does not apply to PPT. [PC 27535(b)(8)]
PPT = face-to-face transfer between CA residents that is facilitated by a CA FFL dealer.
~If one the parties involved is a non-resident of CA, then it is not a PPT.
~If the firearm is shipped, then it is not a PPT.sigpic
"If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun." - Dalai Lama (Seattle Times, 05-15-2001). -
... unless you have the misfortune to conduct your PPT at an FFL inside the city limits of Los Angeles.
City of Los Angeles has its own 1-in-30 restriction; no, I don't know how that happened.
It is not City residents, it's transfers within city limits that are affected.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

How do you put 2 different sellers in 2 different transactions on one dros application?Comment

Have them both show up at the LGS at the same time.
For the sellers, it's no different. For the LGS, a bit more paperwork, as it's the equivalent of doing 2 DROSes (documenting both guns, copying licenses, etc.) on the same 4473. PPT a single gun is ~$47 and doing 2 guns on one DROS is ~$52 I believe.Comment

Call the FFL ahead of time, some know how to do it, others may not, and a heads up call will determine if they know how it's done, or will figure it out before you come in...
Expect $10 @ gun you have on the DROS. plus the usual DROS fee (which is now "split" between however many firearms you're transferring, one of the few times we get a break in Kommiefornia). I had one shop that didn't even charge for the second gun... so again, call ahead.Comment

Yes, had 2 DROS one right after the other.
I told the FFL I was buying 2 and selling 1.
All 3 PPT.
Took a lot of communication getting 2 sellers and 1 buyer together.
Had the buyer come in 30min before the sellers.
Was clock work until I looked at my paper work and found they only DROS 1 handgun.
Since all the paper work was done both sellers left but I had to pay for another DROS and wait.
No problem doing multiple PPT in one day.
Advise the sellers what you are doing and stagger the times slightly.
Some might be pressed for time and do not want to wait for other guys paperwork.Comment
