Did yu have to embed the 3.7 ounce stainless plate in that one or did it come with plate for all the info required your name, city, caliber & model, serial number?

It's illegal in Ca. To make your own pistol.... You might want to delete this thread.

Single shot is ok. Can't become auto later - mfg of unsafe handgun.

It is impossible for polymer. Unless you can get some kind of a metal tag embedded. Not sure how that's going to work.

^^^ Correct this is about polymer. You can still make a metallic single shot handgun. Can never be semi auto. Maybe someone could make a mold and investment cast stainless magwell to attach permanently to polymer frame that weighs 3.7 ounces.

But single shot is not OK with any known Poly80 frame, because it lacks the 3.7oz of embedded stainless. It was possible to do before the 3.7oz law kicked in, but now it is impossible.

If OP is just now asking about engraving serials into Poly frames, then he is asking for trouble.

^^^ Same answer 4 times on here. Anyone out there wasnt to write a program to machine a magwell for polymer lower that uses appropriate stainless. Figure a way to pin and epoxy to frame.
