S&W vote here. SIg comes a close second.

One of my buddies has a S&W MP 45 and another has a Ruger P94, I absolutely love the MP and it will probably be the next hand gun I buy. As far as the mag release is concerned it is pretty tough at first and you do have to work it in. I was with my friend when he bought it and the rep told us that the gun was made so when you reload your mag with your support had the thumb of your support hand is supposed to be what presses the mag release not the thumb of your primary hand. As far as Rugers go, i shot my buddies did not like it and he has had many problems with it. hope this helped.

Sig gets my vote. I never warmed up for MP for some reason, although its design looks good.

why not a hi-power? sweet elegant shooter originally designed by john browning as a replacement for the 1911. granted, that it's not as tactical as the guns on your list ,but, every bit as functional.

have a hard time looking for one. I found one at Krausewerks but out of my range.

800 bucks is a bit steep for me.

Well After reading bunch of reviews on the P239. I am actually looking forward to grab it if its still there

One question, The Sig P239 on Consigment is a .40 cal.

Will it be advisable to get a Bar Sto or a KKM 9mm Barrel Conversion?

Also will the p239 be good with Aluminum cased Ammo?

Not P239, but still... it's awesome.

                    Picking guns.

You have picked out various guns, but have you actually shot them?

How a gun really behaves can only be determined by real live fire.

Perhaps this is something we as a community could do, hold regular shoots where we try out each other's guns.

If nothing else, would be fun.

I have alot of 9mm's, although none of mine are on your list. My next Pink Pistol shoot will be Jun 21 from 11am to 1pm at the 10th street range in San Jose.

I usually bring at least 10 pistols with me, most are 9mms. Only problem I am having nowadays is getting Ammo.

Since I control the shoot, I get to choose who can and can't come
Of course calgun members are always welcome

                      I shot the P239, RUGER SR9, SW M&P.

I liked the P239 most out of of them. I would say it fits my hand perfectly.

FNP9, I handled at the store and liked the way it points.

If worsts comes to worst, Ill buy the P239 then come back to buy a FNp9 or S&W M&P before the end of year.

I might have to come to the shoot. Any ammo of preference?

Browning Hi Power or a take off of it. Like a fnh hi power you can get one of those for like 500 new. I have both and both are great shooters and fit my hands to a t.

None of my local dealers carry it.

I saw an FEG clone but I read needs a lot of work to be accurate.

Correct. The "SA" part of CZ 75B SA is the designation for it being the single action only model.

To be honest, if I do cave in and buy a 9MM relatively soon, that's probably the pistol I'd get. Though no local gun shops seem to have in stock at the moment and the CZ Custom Shop has been waiting forever to get more in.
