    Davis Derringer D-32

Have an issue I'm hoping someone can help with. While handling the derringer I managed to crack a small piece off the selector that attatches to the hammer. I know Cobra took over the Davis company but I just found out they went bankrupt in February. So guess I wont be ordering parts from them. Will try to see if the number online still works. I found 1 guy on ebay selling a parts kit but cost damn near what the guns worth.
My question to you guys is can I use something like JB weld to put the piece back together? Also if thats not possible. Can anyone give me any insight if the Cobra C-32 and the Davis D-32 parts are interchangeable? Or if the 22mag 22lr etc selectors are the same size?
Really don't want to put this up as paper weight but any help is appropriated. Thanks in advance

That is the part that always breaks especially if you dry fire. Never dry fire these pistols.

You might contact this company and see if they have parts that will fit Davis.

They bought Cobra, which was the defunct Davis

Yup I found out the hard way about dry firing it. I found that Bearman company after I posted this thread I will give them a call in the morning and hopefully have a part that will fit. Thanks for the heads up!
