They are good magazines, but should be considered disposable due to them breaking down over time/usage (mag body splitting, feed lips cracking, etc).

However, they are leagues better (fit, durability, reliability) than ETS Glock magazines and Pro-Mag Glock magazines.

The best mags for Glocks are Glock factory magazines.

Overall... they are good mags, if you need mags now and can't get factory Glock mags.

IMO, if you’re questioning reliability of aftermarket mags, just get some OEM. Now if they are for the range, the magpul mags feel about as cheap as an after market mag can. The orange followers seemed to attract dirt/carbon/debris so much that I had to clean them after each trip to the range. The mags did however function fine tho.

They work. Pretty much all Magpul stuff do. And they are much cheaper than factory Glock mags. But without a doubt, if given a choice between paying more for factory, or paying less for Magpul, I'll pay more everyday of the week. Glock mags will outlast the average shooter, they are tough as nails.

Fine for the range or SHTF. I would not leave them loaded and would not use them for carry.

As the others said, its great for range but if its not for range use, stick to factory.

They are great. Probably among the best aftermarket mags out there. And I think the military is using them as well, though maybe only with the AR.

However, for Glock, I would use no other than real Glock mags.

As for the lips deforming, I've not experienced that on my AR mags. But they do have a clip or cover for those to press down just a little on the stack of ammo and take the load off the lips. I keep a number fully loaded and use the covers as well.

I find they work just fine and mine haven't broken the feed lips or failed like everyone else seems to report. I haven't even done anything to make them last so I can only conclude that other people likely are abusing their magazines in ways that I don't.

That said, I still use the factory magazines when I'm depending on using the firearm for self defense. As always, YMMV.

Not sure if it’s relevant for you OP, but for 9mm Luger Glock, the 27rd Magpul is good for when you need a 170mm magazine and 21rd Mapgul is 140mm complaint

Sometimes the base pads to extend the factory 17rd magazine is more expensive than a complete Magpul magazine and it’s nice to have some magazines you don’t mind throwing around in the dirt

I've never used Magpul for anything except for a long rifle mags. For my Glocks, it's always been factory mags. No issues ever.

I bought 6 magpul glock 17 mags for like 63$ shipped on special when they came out. I used them in USPSA for like 4500 rounds about and they worked fine.

I later saw them being sold for close to the price of a factory glock magazine. While I thought they were a decent score for ~$10.50 each, if it was a matter of like a dollar or two I’d go glock factory magazine every time.

Have some of the 10 and 15 round mags. They work just fine as range mags, haven't used them for much else though. Only reason I wouldn't recommend them for carry mags/ HD mags is simply because the OEM mags still set the benchmark for most reliable Glock mags available.

Magpul 9mm are good to go.
