    Moving guns

So I'm going to be moving back to California in a few months (yeah, yeah, I know,). And I've heard that certain handguns that are verboten from new sales are OK to move there with and sell used, with a good return rate. And I don't want to move and then want to get something and not be able to. So what are some good pistols to buy before I move?

What about Kel-tecs? I found the list of approved guns but I'm trying to develop a list of the other ones.

Might be a good idea not to do this as a for-profit business except for a very small number, but as a 'public service' it'd be appreciated.

More 10mm S&W 1006s would especially be welcome.

Holy cow! Sig p210's aren't on the list? That sucks. I might have to get a loan before I move I was just thinking about saving up to buy a couple of them.
How much do the p210's and 1006's sell for out there?
Yeah, I wasn't planning on unloading (sic) a truckfull. I was just thinking a couple, enough to finance an M1A and maybe a nice Cz or Sig. Looks like I'll have to pick up a CZ 52 before I leave too. Good enough to use as an excuse for the wife; "I have to buy them now. I won't be able to later!"
Is it true that LEO's are exempted from the import restriction (like the AWB and NorCapMagBan)? If so does the CDC count?

I think your best bet would be some 1911 frames. That way people can build the gun they want. I say carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum w/ and w/o light rail. If you do it I'll take a 1911 carbon steel frame with rail and checkered front strap.

Somewhere between Bakersfield and Susanville. Probably closer to the latter.

Keltec P32s would give you the highest return....

Colt Pythons, Series 70 stuff and Sig P210's won't profit you much unless you want to hold on to them for a couple of years, but will make a lot of people really happy.

Early Smith & Wesson revolvers... early model or pre-model series, pinned & recessed would be good investment return potential...

i would pay up to double for a pm-11 pistol. pm me if anyone has one for private party transfer. one of my favorites would be the steyr spp they are scarce in Cali but i think there are a few. i got to hold a spp in vegas. i liked it but i have a glock instead.

STI frames, or even a complete race gun. You cant buy anything like that NIB in CA.
