    Glock Magazine Question

One of my clients brought me a 15 round Glock .40 mag that they found in the parking lot of our local gun range. He knew that I have the DOJ hi-cap mag permit. I am going to sell it on GB for him and that's where my question comes from.

I looked at Glock mags online to try and determine what generation this mag is and they all look the same to me. (Never owned a Glock. Only sold them.) However, this one has a round notch at top back while the ones online look square. Is this a "fake" Glock mag?

    Generation 1-4 are pre-'94 ban.
Generation 5-6 are during the '94 ban.
    Generation 7-8 are post-'94 ban.

Round notch is old school non drop free mag I believe.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Why don't you try to find the owner instead of selling it? I would hate to lose one of my pre-ban mags forever.

Since it was in a parking lot, I highly doubt finding the right owner. Like finding 200$ at a mall. Everyone is going to say it's theirs.

I'm not an auction gun guy but with the low cost of Glock mags is it worth the hassle to auction it off?
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.
