    DOJ Certified list

I am in the market for a S&W 629 Classic. I found one that is just "629" with no dash. The DOJ list shows the 629 Classic as approved but 629-6. Does this mean it's not certified?

    Thanks for the help.

You're OK as long as you're buying it from a private party. An FFL dealer couldn't sell that one to you.

An in state private party. From what I understand you cant bring anything into the state that isn't on that approved list, that includes revisions.

As a private individual moving here, you can bring in anything not explicitly banned elsewhere in the law - the 'safe gun' list does not apply to private individuals, only to what dealers may sell.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
