That Taurus is a 2nd Gen and still worked well. I'd shoot it.
Gen 1 - actual blued guns
Gen 2 - black (blue) guns w/o rail
Gen 3 - black (blue) gun w/ rail

And here's what I'd like to know, why are all .38Supers chromed out trash even from the factory?

I love my Gen 1 Nickel PT99. But I never liked the look of the stainless ones - too bling. Or the large serrations on Gen 2 slides with the rail they look even worse.

It’s not that bad. The real roasting is appropriate to all the mall ninjas that buy a ton of “upgrades” for their gun to look cool. They don’t train, they can’t shoot, they just like to accessories and show off the trinkets.

I have a PT 99 AF. Trigger isn't as smooth as the Beretta 92FS, but still decent.
Gold hardware isnt my thing, but it's not terrible.
