    Curious: Anyone make a 9mm double action revolver these days?

    Just a random thought....I know there once were a few manufacturer putting these out but probably not anymore. Wonder why not.

    Last one I saw was a Taurus, but discontinued. Bud's still had one in stock about a year ago - I finally decided to get it and it was gone.

      The Charter Arms Rimless Revolver (CARR) took a long time to get to market. There were a number of false starts and premature press releases. However, the revolver that takes rimless cartridges without the need for moon clips finally did make the market in 2012 - almost four years after…

        It was a Taurus Model 905- 5 shot 2inch bbl- see Gunbroker. Also coming out 5mm magnum revolver- 9 shot 6inch blue/stnlss with higher velocity and similar knockdown as 9mm. Oopps- now everbody will want one.

                There are companies out there that will machine cylinders for 9mm with moonclips. I've thought of doing that for my J frame .38.
