CZ - Ship-able to CA without FFL ?

    Hi all,

CZ 75 Kadet Adapter II 22 LR 'sets' (model # 01610) are back in stock. Can anyone tell me if I can have it ship directly to me (without going through my local FFL)?

    Supplied with two 10-round mags.

Yes, can be shipped direct. Looks like a lot of places with stock and wildly varying prices

PSA is selling them for $553

Thanks, and 'thanks' for the link.

I'd been looking for a while and then kind of gave up; it was TOS pretty much everywhere. Maybe CZ manufactures them in batches and they're now back in stock.

I got a 'notify me when back in stock' email from Bud's this morning. They're quoting $400 (shipping included). I've had good luck with Bud's in the past.

Yes if they have been out of stock for awhile then it is common for a bunch of vendors to get inventory from a fresh a batch all at once.

$400 is not bad at all, I would see if any of those other sellers with the lower price are waiving CA tax though. Buds will charge tax, but some small vendors still do not collect tax

In general, a pistol slide is a non regulated part in the USA (this still includes California for now). CZ seams to do everything in batches.

I agree that $400 is a fair price for the orignal steel CZ Kadet kit. I believe that i paid around $420 when i picked mine up a few years back.

I've got a CZ75 Compact and several of the reviews I've read mention the Kadet Adapter slipping right in with no 'fitting' required.

I don't mind paying sales tax since the seller is including shipping in the price. I tend to 'buy' (and pay if I feel the price is fair) and don't 'shop'. The savings on .22 vs. 9mm alone will be significant.

            Thanks again for the feedback.

Guess I should have jumped yesterday, Bud's raised the price by $24 overnight ... not sure I like that policy. From $400 to $424.00

My Compact is dead stock. Should I plan on a new main spring in addition to the Adapter set?

It falls under the buy once cry once category...
Cryin' my eyes out this afternoon; but it will pass when the box get here from Kaintukee. Thanks for the feedback.
