    Crack under Glock 43x extractor?

Posted in gunsmithing but I know handgun forums get a lot more traffic... Hopefully someone can advise...

Purchased brand new this week. Fired 10 rounds through it to function test. All ten were Hornady Critical Defense 115g factory loads. Disassembled to do a ".25 cent trigger job" and noticed this under the extractor. Does this need to go back to Glock, or do all 43x slides have this blemish?

Looks like a surface scratch going across both surfaces.
Does the part on the breech face have any depth?

Take a needle or a dental pick and see if you can feel if its a crack or simply a surface blemish.

Here's the story: I've got a G27 and a G23. While cleaning the G27 I noticed what appears to be a line or crack on the breech face behind the extractor. I stripped the G23 and noticed that it too has the same line / crack in the same place. Is anyone familiar with this and what could cause...

Looks like manufacturing marks. If slides are made by casting, this mark of device called “slide” to create undercut feature on parts. At list I will design mold that way.
