    Doublestar 1911???

Turn 21 in December and was browsing around for a handgun mainly 1911s. Came across this on the BudsGunShop website. What say you?

I wouldnt if i could. They have a non proven track record with 1911's. I'd wait till they'd been out awhile. But then again its a moot point. It does look tacticool.

The Gunblast guys had a review of it...

I bet it'd be at a good price point....I'll be curious to see what the long-term reviews are.

You guys don't have any imagination. Maybe the list will be ruled illegal in court by then. Anyway, find a single shot upper and get it if you want. Check my single shot upper thread from a few days ago.

Go to a bookstore and get the current issue of Shotgun News. The Double Star 1911 is on the cover, with a LONG article and review on it. Shotgun news is pretty cool cause they get quite a bit more in depth than other gun magazines.

If I remember correctly, the author liked the gun, but kept making subtle excuses for it.

Gotta stop by WallyWorld to skim the article then. Seems like a nice looking 1911 but I agree regarding long term affects (a la will it always go bang?)
