Over the past year I have fallen in love with Smith and Wesson Semi Autos. So far I have found the 669, 5904, and a 5905 and must admit I wish I had discovered these sooner. Surprisingly comfortable to shoot and the quality is pretty nice to be honest.

Anyone else here collect Smith and Wesson Semi Autos?

You missed out. I just sold a lnib 910. It is the budget aluminum framed version of the 59 series in 9mm.
I've shot a 3906 many times. Besides being a huge heavy 8 shot gun, it is a dream to shoot. I'd like to find a leo trade in 5906. With all the scratches and holster wear goodness. Has to have the novak cut night sights. A dept. stamping/engraving would be cool too.Comment

Watch J&G (overpriced), AIM Surplus, Centerfire Systems, and folks like that for police trade-ins. They're scarcer now, but they get some every once in a while. Good way to pick up 9mm & .40 3rd Gens, at least.

The 40’s look pretty solid, will be keeping an eye out. Any recommendations on the 3rd Gen 9mm and 40’s.Comment

I have always liked the Lady Smith, but hard to find. B.Comment

Too late. I sold two unfired 59's earlier this year. Still have a steel 39, a 5 digit 39, and 3 39-2's. Not for sale (this year).
I like shooting the 39. Bought my first one in 1968. 59's are a little bulky but OK.
I wont go into the 41's. Lovely shooters.Comment

E Series! I love mine! With sufficient thrust pigs fly just fine.Comment

I had a 39 that I couldn't hit the side of a barn with even if I left powder burns on it. What a POS. I have a 6906 I'm comfortable with out to about 30-40 yards. The rest of my current S&W collection (I sold 8 others) is the 6906, 642 and a raw 39 forging. I should sell that to someone with a collection of 39s.Comment

I can't say I collect them. I only have one third gen S&W semi now, but I love it. It's a CS9, one of the smallest double action metal pistols ever made. It is not easy to find in California.
There are lots of others I would like to pick up. High on that list is a CHP 4006. The rest of the country has been buying them cheap (less than $400) for months, but we can't. My tax dollars, and yours, paid for those, and it kills me to be locked out from them.Pooty Poot, you sure screwed the pooch this time! - Ghost of Roza Shanina, WWII Soviet SniperComment
