    New carry piece

I picked up a new carry piece today. Can you guess which one is new?

Why did you ditch the 1911? I carry an officer sized frame and it carries very similarly to my 9mm shield.

I didn’t ditch the 1911... I shot that today. Along with many other guns I own.

That was my first observation as well...

You're all wrong. He's gonna carry sharp pieces of cardboard as a less lethal option and hand out some nasty papercuts

Nice photo showing just how small that hellcat really is. Enjoy!

Nice piece! Enjoy your new carry gun. Hopefully your CCW application sails through without a hitch. I'm in Shasta County too and the process was relatively easy.

Not sure about the new Sheriff as I absolutely have no idea where he stands on this issue.

Keep at and enjoy it, I had to go thru a few brands of 9mm to find the one my S & W Shield liked the best. Browning & SIG worked the best.

                        OP,
If you're gonna carry a gun you need to grow a much thicker skin.

Mechanically speaking, the Hellcat is essentially a double stack XDs.

I would highly recommend the trigger kit from Powder River Precision for it.

And for some reason they also like heavier grain bullets, 124gr. or 147gr.

Those two changes tightened up the grouping on my XDs considerably.

                          YMMV
                          Then said He unto them...
"and he that hath no 1911 designed by my servant John Moses Browning,
let him sell his garment and buy one."
And they said, "Lord, behold, here are two Glocks."
And He said unto them, "Meh, it's a good start."

                          Luke 22:36-38 (somewhat paraphrased)
