the M17 grips have the manual safety cutout. In addition, it isn't hard to dremel out the slot for the manual safety yourself. I've seen it done before and its quite easy to do.

The Wilson Combat module is available in Carry size. That should fit the compact slide but takes a standard mag.

It should be flush with the 3.5 in slide. Check it out on their website just to be sure. Seems like most put in on a full slide to give it the 1911 look.

You should ask yourself which grip you want, the standard 320 grip or the X grip. They have a significantly different feel. If you like the standard grip like your M17 has, you can use your M17 grip, or if you want the shorter Compact grip, you can buy one for under 50 bucks. If you want the X grip you have to cut the slot because none of the X models have a manual safety afaik.

Is there any grip modules out there that have the manual safety cutout and is compatible with the x compact slide?

Having a pretty hard time finding 1.

Anybody know of any such modules?
You will have to buy a grip module with the cutout, mill the cutout yourself or remove the manual safety mechanism from the FCG.

I'm guessing the Wilosn module is only marketed for the F/S, Carry and Compact slides..... I don't own a compact FCU so I can't answer that.

However, the M17/!8 slides could use the Wilson module. There is also the the M18 Sig OEM module, which has the cut out. But if you want the OEM Sig frame with the cut out, you would have to cut your own.

Wilson works fine for the m17/m18
I use it on the m18 one
