FWIW, my Navy P226 had the worst SIG trigger I've ever shot... according to my SIG smith, that tends to be normal, as the trigger surfaces are coated and become gritty.

You really can't make an informed judgement by reading up on the subject - go to a range that rebts the type of pistol you're looking at and try it out for yourself, or shoot a friend's piece if he/she happens to have that model.
Case in point.
The HK P7 series is one of the best handguns to ever come down the pike, but some people have purchased them on reputation only to find that it doesn't work for them.
Good for buyers of used pistols, not so good for the buyer.
Take me advice - shoot first, decide later.The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Just pray you don't get a call from the FFL early next week telling you they screwed up the paperwork and have to redo the DROS. Happened to me and I ended up with an 18 day waiting period.I have been reading up about what handgun I should get next and I had narrowed it down to a Beretta 92fs and a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm. Now the long ten day wait till I can pick it up and run a few rounds thru it at the range. Is there any way to make the time go by faster? Oh, I didn't mention which one I decided on? This one.....

By the way, nice gun. I have a Beretta 92fs INOX and it is a terrific gun, but it is really big and heavy for a 9mm.
