Flat vs Curved trigger?

I’ve only fired flat triggers on other folks firearms. So I can’t really say with any confidence which is better. However, in my limited experience, I’m more comfortable with the curved trigger.

If my wallet ever recovers from that tragic boating accident, I may replace all those guns, and some may have flat triggers just so I can get used to them.

While I know they make 'em for 1911's, in 28 years of owning them, I've NEVER had one with a flat trigger!

Flat on striker fired and DOA pistols and curved on a SAO.

Curved 1911 triggers for me - is comfortable, a classic, and more aesthetically pleasing. To me, the flat is a recent phenomenon and more like a gimmick.

The only flat trigger that I have used was on my Anschutz .22 smallbore competition rifle. It is appropriate on that rifle, because it is a single shot rifle.

Flat or curved it’s really not that big of a difference once you start shooting. All my aftermarket triggers are flat faced because they look cool but that’s pretty much where my preference ends.

I put a flatty on my 320. Only one range trip so far. Not sure I feel the love. I'll give it a few more sessions.

The rest all have curved.
