    Best .22 conversion for glock?

Im looking at getting a .22 conversion for my glock 17. There are a few out there but I dont know which ones are good and which ones are crap. Any input would be appreciated.

Well my brother just bought a nos AA kit for his flock 10mm. Use only the recommendations on ammo. Lots of failures to extract. My buddies g20 kit runs well.

Btw, my 12-yr old kid uses the AA kit for his practice

But the Tactical Solutions works on any generation Glock IIRC.

The OP will then have to decide between forward/backward compatibility, slide lock on empty, and cost.

In my case - the AA kit allows for slide lock on empty and it was significantly cheaper. Albeit, way picky with ammo, even within CCI.

Regarding compatibility - we're in California, Gen 3 is mostly de facto.

I had AA. It was very reliable with many brands.

Both the Tactical Solutions and the Advantage Arms sell for in the $280 to $300 range.

My Google skills might be bad because what I found for TS is around the MSRPs...

Oh well... Then it just becomes a preference for the OP.

I always shop sales. I never pay MSRP.

I can usually find the AA around $275 on sale. I can usually find the TS on sale for around $300. They're within 10% when comparing sale prices.

You used to be able to find the AA for $260, but I haven't seen that price for years. Granted, the TS very rarely goes on sale, but it does happen.

I have the AA. About the only ammo it doesn't like is Federal Match, but then lots of guns don't like that ammo. Works great with Blazer, Rem Golden Bullet and CCI standard. Aguilla gets it dirty and it starts to hang going into battery. I've shot well over 1,000 rounds through it. Great for training or plinking. I think I bought mine on Ebay for around $250.

Get involved, let's fix these 2nd Amendment misunderstandings.

It's not the size of your gun that counts, only the fun factor...

AA works for me (G17). Bought some extra mags from a dealer going out of business on Gunbroker. Otherwise, mags would have been too expensive. So, check prices on magazines first.
