So far, from what I can tell. It would be getting an SP01 and Cajunizing it. Are we really just relegated to a few outdated CZ's and Glocks? Is there one I am missing?

Best On Roster Competition Firearm?

I’d imagine a CZ would be the best choice since you have weight in your favor.

Other than a Cajunized CZ SP01 or customized Glock 34...
upgrade the trigger/sights/magwell on a Springfield Loaded 1911 9mm?

Yeah I figured as much gents. I guess I could just buy a LEO imported Shadow 2 or Tangfolio but out of principle I find it so hard to pay the double or even triple asking price that people want here, knowing they cost a third or half of that a four hour drive away lol
Scotty, I was under the impression that STI's are also off roster?Comment

Which competition/division? Competition is broad!
You also have the HK USP, the Springfield XD, Les Baers 1911, S&W revolvers, M&P Shield, etc. to name a few.Comment

Springfield Armory TRPs are great for Single Stack, with no modifications necessary. They even have competition-friendly magwells. You will probably want to install a fiber optic front sight, though, and a reduced power recoil spring if you use lower power factor ammo. Shooting Major with a .45 is pretty fun, too.Last edited by Mayor McRifle; 05-20-2020, 7:49 AM.Anchors Aweigh

Be aware if you go SAO on a CZ you will bump to Limited / L10 for USPSA and ESP for IDPA.
Keep DA/SA and roll with hammer down at buzzer and you'll compete in Production in USPSA.
Depending on the CGW hammer and trigger, you may be able to stick to SSP in IDPA.Comment

With Freedom Week magazines, you can go Limited instead of Limited 10.The CZ Tactical Sport is still on the roster (as CZ 75 TS).
It’s discontinued by CZ themselves but you still see them out there for now. A few months ago Triple A’s Sporting Goods in Vallejo had a couple, for a bit over MSRP.
It’s a pretty nice setup out of the box for USPSA Limited 10 division.
But unless you want (or can even find) a .40 caliber Tac Sport, you’ll be at a competitive disadvantage shooting Minor in Limited or Limited 10.
A 9mm Tac Sport, on the other hand, is absolutely ideal for Steel Challenge.Anchors Aweigh
