Hello all, I have a Clark custom comp barrel coming for a 1911, I will be shooting lead reloads and was wondering if I should shoot first some hard ball to burnish in the bore, as some old timer shooters used to do. Yes on no?

Post #7 is a prime example why I like to tease, in good humor of course, some people about
their obsolete guns and bullets by either going faster or bouncing-off cardboard targets.
