I actually considered ordering a 20# spring, basically doing the exact same as you said. The one from Lone Wolf is a little cheaper than Glockstore, but I’m sure they both perform identical.

Did some more research at lunchtime, leaning towards Wolff rod and 22# spring

I run A 22 lb Flat wire Spring with a Stainless Guide rd in my Glock20. It Works perfectly with my Longslide Conversion, and Standard slide . This set up will Cycle anything from Weak 40S@w to The Hottest 10mm from 135 Grain to 220 Frain Hardcast .
