When i got mine, i bought several hundred rounds at B and B. When i ran out and needed to qualify, i found some online and it was over $1 per. For giggles, i found an old box and it was marked under $20.

I dont think thry make as much as other calibers.

I looked online for those but couldn’t find any in stock. Seecamp has expanded their recommended ammo for the 32 acp. Speer was included on that list so hopefully they run well.

They work in mine, so you should be fine. I still carry silvertips. I dont think they make them any more.

When I spoke with Seecamp at SHOT '19, they did say that they have expanded their recommendations a little but, it only includes premium 60g self defence rounds so, you're still looking at about a buck a round. I struggled a little and finally got my reloads (60g Hornady JHPs) to work MOST (95% or so) of the time. That is after sizing, checking with a case gauge, loading and rechecking with a case gauge. It is a time consuming process but, everyone says it can't be done so I had to try. The ones that don't fire on the first strike do fire with just a second pull of the trigger though. My 25 cent reloads work fine for range time but, I wouldn't trust them for SD YET.

If you can find PMC Bronze 60 grain JHP, it is usually reasonably priced and is great practice ammo. Runs 100% in my Seecamp.

The best way to get any Seacamp to perform at nearly 100% reliability is to
replace the slide, frame, trigger and sights with OEM Beretta 1935 parts.

Winchester white box Q4255 FMJ has the correct length for a Seecamp, and usually functions fine. You are not getting expansion from any hollow point in a Seecamp .32, so the expensive JHP’s do not offer anything.

I have had good luck reloading for Seecamp and Walther .32’s using Unique, Power Pistol, W231, and the Hornady #32010 60 grain xtp but unfortunately that bullet is now discontinued. I have not found any other bullet with the correct shape to work in a Seecamp.

I do not have a Seecamp, but a different .32 auto. When I was researching what round to use, it seemed like most people experienced with the cartridge suggested using euro FMJ. The reason being that .32acp does not generate the velocity to reliably expand and penetrate. Those designed to expand at lower velocities do no penetrate. The FMJ round is a more reliable penetrator. Euro rounds offer a bit more power/velocity than USA made rounds and that contributes to adequate penetration. Find FMJ rounds that your Seecamp likes.

- .32 is a not-pupular round these days
- it's not that cheap

- PMC bronze the the seecamp32 works GREAT... that's what I use
- SPEER GD 32 also works great

- load up on PMC bronze .32 and call it a day


- but yes.. .32 wont be cheap like 9mm or even 38spc/357mag or even .380

I agree that JHP in short barreled, underpowered rounds like .32acp are useless. Not only will they fail to reliably expand, but may result in underpenetration failures as well.

Whatever you buy, stick with FMJ. FMJ also feeds more reliably in temperamental .32 pistols.

I bought a Walther PP in .32 last year, ammo for it at range was $0.69/round!
I'd figured I can reload for it - but even components are limited.
Best value I could find was berry's 71gr round nose, dies were about twice the price of any other caliber I load for too.
Still 1000 rounds or so will recoup the costs.

The Lee dies work fine, and cost the same as all other Lee dies.

Lee also makes a factory crimp die that is for .32 acp/.32 S&W Long.

The .32 acp case is very thin, so it is easy to tear or crumple the case mouth, be gentle.

The Seecamp is a special case, as it requires a max OAL of about .91, so standard round nose FMJ bullets won’t work.
