    Glock 19.5 MK27

I recently purchased a glock 19.5 MOS after years of shooting a 1911 in the interest of a cheaper higher capacity pistol. What prompted it was a friend who had his offduty carry taken for evidence for 3yrs and he was out of a $5k pistol. I suspect had he not been a cop, he might not even have gotten the pistol back but that's another story.

I've had nothing but great experiences with the pistol and have put about 7k rounds through it in the past month.
The Glock 19 was adopted by ussocom as the mk27. For the cost and reliability, I feel there is simply no equal. Here is a thread below on the durability and ease of maintenance regarding the Glock system:

Continued from the auto loader photo thread: After 1 month of hard use. 3K rounds a week the first thing to go: Part # 33212-2. Added a second G19 GEN 5 MOS as a control. Looking at dividing every session between the 2x G19’s. I hope to find a metric for the parts that go tits up....with...

Notable first hand info from OP who is an AD:

He then delves into the rmr's and lights which you can read for yourself.

In closing, while the g19 may not fit everyone, the cost and reliability factor is hard to beat.
