Other option is to look at 80P builders website , sometimes a pre milled slide may be cheaper than the work you want to have done.

This is just my opinion and others may disagree, but I would just pick up a g17 slide with rmr cut from brownells or aim surplus.

The turnaround is like 8-12 weeks to send your slide in for milling.
This way, you still have your stock slide and you can either keep it or sell it.

I sent mine to Maple Leaf Firearms in TX,. If I remember correctly, RMR milling was $125, Cerakoke was $60, the suppressor sights were $60 and the turnaround was about 2-3 weeks.

https://www.alphashootingsports.com/ in OC if that's not too far. I have purchased slides as well as had a G19 slide cut for RMR, front serrations, and cerakote from them.

I agree with this. Plus Brownells has that lifetime warranty if you ever run into issues. Comes with just a RMR cut, or a windowed slide + RMR cut. And then if you don't want to run a RMR you can get a plate from Maple Leaf Firearms that is made for the Brownells slide.

Borrowed from Brownells, you get the idea. Why spend money on slide milling when you can keep your perfectly functional slide as a back up and buy an entire second slide with a lifetime warranty for about the same money?

For what it’s worth my brownells rmr slide (g34) has been 100% reliable with 115gr and 124gr. FMJ.

I don’t know if Randall w/ ar15 barrels mills slides.

Dave’s metalworks around Covina does great work

As others have said- by the time you are done with milling and refinishing, I would also suggest looking at a brownells pre milled slide.

If you dont like it- easy to sell it.

I've built two G34's using slide packages that 80P Builder sells on Ebay. The quality of their machine work is absolutely stunning. They are every bit the quality of my OEM Glock slides. One of my kits had the wrong barrel (was ported) sent with the kit. I emailed them late on Friday and they sent me the proper barrel and a tag to send the other one back. They even spent the extra $ for "2nd day priority delivery" to get the new barrel to me and I had everything the following Wednesday.

I have to admit that they totally won me over by how quickly they responded to what was really a minor problem. They've always been the company I shop at first whenever I need anything now. Give them a look - if you can keep your stock OEM slide assembly original, you'll be far better off if you ever want to sell or make changes. I found getting these kits cost only slightly more than sending out my original slide to have it modified. It's definitely worth consideration!

Zeroed In Armory in Pearland, TX. RMR cut, cerakote, blacked out suppressor sights for under $125 with a 7 business day turnaround. I'm very happy with their service.
