The non threaded barrels are very hard to find right now. Even the EFK ones are almost non existent.

I use to have a FDE FNP the model before the FNX, I ended up selling it to another calgunner. Liked it but didn’t love it, interesting handguns though.

You aren't lying. I had to buy a complete slide just to get the barrel.

I have an extra FNP45 Non Threaded Barrel I can try until I get the proper FNX 45 barrel. I have a feeling it will work.

I just did some research on the FN forum and unfortunately they aren't compatible

              FNX 45 Tactical FDE

Congrats Op. I got my first FN about a year ago. Mines the 509 and it now one of my favorites. Never had experience with FN till then. I was pleasantly surprised.

                Thank you!

The 509 is a great gun, I picked the FDE model a couple months ago.

I've shot one before and is one of my favorite double stack .45's, probably right next to the HK Mark 23. I have an FDE RMR and FDE Surefire X300u on the way for it too. I also have a factory FNX non-threaded barrel for use in CA. I'll post some pictures when I get everything on it, and a range report when I can get out and do some shooting.

Thats awesome. So just go to my local ffl and order this fnx45? Im a LE too btw. I will need to buy a barrel then just so i can use this as my off duty carry?

Yes sir, that's correct. This is on the FN Blue Label list so make sure your FFL is an authorized FN Blue Label dealer, because its $999 on Blue Label vs $1399.

Well the guy I was going to buy the replacement non-threaded barrel from flaked. I've been searching all day for another but can't find one. EFK doesn't even have any other aftermarket barrels. If someone can find one for me, I'll PayPal you a $40 finders fee. If all fails I'll just buy a complete FNX 45 slide assembly.

You can probably sell it with the sights and everything else for at least half of what you're paying for the full top end. Assuming you can find a buyer, which shouldn't be too hard. You can always trick it out with slide cuts and ceracote
