    $25,000 Colt Python?

    Current bid is $25,001.

You gotta have too much money to bid that much, in my opinion.

But... but.... I thought the new Python was supposed to put all these Boomers in their place on old Python pricing

If it was a matched set, then I’d be all over it.

Eh, show gun with factory provenance, not ”worth” that price, but that’s what they’re asking for it. It will sell simply because people pay for things like that and they ain’t gonna get any cheaper unless you go and shoot it

It goes to show that there are people with lots of money and they are willing to spend it on items that are deemed RARE. Just because you have money, doesn't mean you can buy everything. These items have to pop up for sale first.

                    That's why it's only 25k.

Of the fourteen listed bids, "Keystone Arms" has bid eleven times. He is one of the largest Python dealers, I bought a set of period correct factory new Python walnut grips from him a couple of years ago. That gun must have a great deal of value for him to lust that much over it.

                          Is it the ivory grips?

That gun is not in mint condition and therefore should not be priced as such. My going to get my money. I have alot of guns I can sell as pre-owned for 20X the value as well. Elephant tusks don't increase the weapon by that much.
