    Holster Recommendation

I've currently got paddle holsters that work great when I or the Mrs. are wearing jeans and want to carry around the house. Many times I'm in shorts and she's in a skirt and well paddles don't work so well. Can anyone recommend something? Guess some kind of chest rig? Suggestions? More concerned about current availability to get it in our hands than cost. This is for full sized glocks 22/17.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

And no, no pics of Mrs. TW

Friends don't let friends use paddles.

PHLster Holsters - Concealed carry gear for professionals and discerning enthusiasts. Featuring the Enigma beltless concealed carry system, the Pro holster, the Skeleton minimalist holster, and more.

A full size in a skirt is a little tricky. This woman shows various outfits with carry rigs. Not sure what will work for your wife: https://instagram.com/pinotandpistols

      Lol
      Thanks I'll check these out.

Ok wait, your first link only has holsters. What about belt? Assume I know nothing because I don't.

Ok maybe I was not clear or misunderstood.
In both cases for myself in shorts and the Mrs. in a skirt there is nothing to clip a holster onto that would allow the gun to come out. Gun would still be stuck in the holster and we'd have our clothes up to our necks trying to draw.

You're going to have to decide whether or not you're going to dress around the gun, and if not, get a different gun for the outfit. You're entering a rabbit hole of gear selection now. I believe most people without belts are using a clip.

If you decide to wear a belt, Magpul's "El Burro", looks casual but can still uphold weight due to its stiffness. A magpul tejas does the same thing. I recommend your belt and holster combination to not have a gap between the loop or clip height.

T-Rex Arms Side Car but it's AIWB. Not sure if you're comfortable carrying that way

Kore essentials for your belt. Casual, tactical, or formal occasions. It has a ratchet system that allows for finer tightening of your belt.

Holster depends on how you want to carry it. For OWB/duty, I like to use T Rex Arms Ragnarok, for IWB, T Rex Arms Raptor. Bravo and Raven concealment work well also.

I bought the Mrs. a 5.11 LV6. She really likes it. It can be a fanny pack or small sling bag. She uses it mainly for a sling bag.

Carrying a firearm means a change of lifestyle in the way you dress particularly if you are rocking full size service pistols like the Glock 17/22. If you are not wearing belts, your only option will be shoulder holsters or fanny packs IMHO.

Thanks for the suggestions. The glocks are what we have to work with. Think it would be difficult to obtain something else right now.

Pricey but cool looking. I'd do more research for a cheaper alternative. I guess a chest holster would be out of the way better than a shoulder holster.

I just looked and lots of cheaper options on EBay to research.

                            Cheers
