Your concern is understood but your handguns are NOT registered. There is a record of sale (DROS) and there is a link to your Drivers license/ID. You could pay a fee to the CADOJ per handgun for an address change but it serves no purpose as only your Drivers License/ID is linked to the Handguns you legally own.
That's the info I got when researching the topic. Hope I'm not passing FUD, and this helps. Check whith your trusted FFL for more info."Imagine how much more hopeful the story of the gospel would be if
Jesus had a gun" - Stephen Colbert

Hmmmm, I have some hanguns I would like your house to register....
The address and such on the DROS is part verifying/residency requirement, it has nothing to do with where the guns will actually be "living"Comment

It doesn't matter.
Appears all your (hand)guns were DROSed to you (i.e, you had no pre-1991 legal private paperless guns).
The address etc is only relevant at the time of DROS.
There's no legal need to update address etc. Go move, go enjoy your guns. Nothing to worry about.

Registering guns is a myth. Guns are not cars. Ca doj only requires registration of transfer, meaning they want to know when a gun changes ownership. Short answer noWTB:
