CZ 75B 9mm: Yay or Nay?

Hey everyone, I've been obsessed lately with the CZ 75. I really like the feel of it and price. I have not shot one yet, but am pretty interested. Does anyone have experience or advice with them? Thanks a lot.

P.S. Just used the search function and found some threads, but I'd still like to know what everyone else thinks.

I love my single action only CZ-75. Fits my small/average hands well even though it's a double stack. Not even a minor hiccup in ~1000 rounds.

Used to have a CZ75 and I loved it. Great ergonomics, excellent function and nice price.
However, I bought a CZ75SP01 a few months ago and I'm not too impressed with it. The ergonomics are still great and it shoot very good and its pretty cheap. The function hasn't been all that great though. I've tried a variety of factory ammo and handloads in it, but I've been unable to find anything that works 100%.

I'll probably send it off to Angus for some tuning, but for now I put it aside (thought of using it for USPSA production) and bought a Glock34 instead.

I'd rate it as one of the 2 best 9mm pistols, the other being the Hi-Power.

How could I forget to talk about the price? IMHO it's better than the more expensive Sigs and HK's I've tried.

                Simple: Yay!

Lot's of fun, great value for the gun. I really enjoy mine. A set of Hakan's grips are a beautiful add-on.

Great pistol for the money. I just bought a new carry gun and if it wouldn't have been for the weight difference that the polymer framed guns have I would have bought the CZ75.

I have a new SP01 and love it and have put just over 500 rounds through it since I got it 3 weeks ago, and not a single problem. Easy to shoot and accurate too. Glad I spent half as much on this than a railed Sig or USP I was looking at.

yes, good stuff! i was looking at the tactical sport, but i'm probably gonna start with a cheaper one, like the sp-01. hope i don't have those ammo problems. feels great though, just like my jericho.

By far the best handgun I have ever owned for the money! Mine is the "duo-tone" model but is in 40 S&W as I am not a fan of 9mm.

You cant go wrong (depending on the price)!

Well you all convinced me. Not that it took much

Will transfer to Ade's sometime this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Yay, CZ-75's (any of the 75 series, they're all good) are very well built. One of the most accurate handguns out of the box as well. Only complaint I've got about mine is it's down right hard to pull the slide back when the gun is new. Tolerances are so tight on the rails that it takes quite a bit of strength to rack the slide. But I figure I'll get it easier to rack by shooting it more
