Does Modding A Glock Frame Void The Warranty

I'm wondering if I modd the trigger guard on a Glock to eliminate the finger bite does it void the warranty? I've heard that Glock really doesn't want you messing with the frame.

    Yes. Limitations of Warranty

The warranty will be void if any of the following occur:

    Your GLOCK pistol or any of its parts are altered or modified from their original state;

Who cares.. Glock warranty is only 1 year.

I hear that unofficially it's a lifetime warranty and they really don't care if you mess with the slide or barrel but if you cut into the frame then it's pretty much the only time when they don't honor a warranty.

What if you shorten the tip of the trigger instead so it won't 'bite' so easily? Modify a replacement trigger so the original is still intact.

Easy fix. Just get rid of the Glock and you won't have anymore problems.

so funny.... I am dealing with Glock CS right now. I asked the guy, "so why do so many people mod their Glocks"? he says, "because they like guns that are less reliable and less safe" LMAO

That's a pretty good idea actually, I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

                        What warranty claim?

If one of the rails chips, the undercut has no impact on that

                        Frame crack - yup

Slide cracks - undercut has not impact on the slide failing
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
                        (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

Were you trying to use the warranty on a modded Glock? Or it was stock?
