This is not about Steven Douglas (although we are/were both aeronautical engineers).

Got a chance to take my 3 M&Ps (all 1.0s, all 9mm)) out for a range run. Been a while since they were all out together.

My Shield is a no-thumb-safety version I bought during the last months of SSE.

Got my compact back when it was on roster in 2013. It has the updated trigger bar (H) and slide stop but essentially still stock. About 1000 rounds now so much of the trigger grittiness is gone (yes, I buffed it a bit too).

Got my Fullsize around the same time as my compact but has seen a few changes. The ported CORE slide kit came first, topped with an RMR. Next came the 2.0 trigger. About 1500 rounds prior to the slide kit and now about 500 more. I just love the RMR!!

Nice been awhile since I’ve seen a Gen 1 M&P that didn’t have an Apex trigger.

I have four of them full size 45, 5” Pro in 40, VTAC 40 and a 9mm early model Shield. All but the shield have Apex triggers.

I wanted to see how far I could go with S&W parts. I'm waiting for a 2.0 trigger bar and will drop in the 2.0 trigger into the compact.

I have been looking at the 9mm compact lately,got to handle a couple now and I JUST might pull the trigger on one so to speak
I only have one plastic pistol a HK but they are making some really good compacts lately so I might have to grab one.Not like I NEED another gun but you know
