    Sig P220 vs 220 Legion

Anyone here have experience with both?

If so, are the differences enough to justify the extra cost?

In my experience, yes the Legion is always worth the extra money. The grip, the trigger, the overall experience of shooting, I prefer the Legion in the P220, the P226, the P229, you name it.

I’d do a 220 combat with gray guns trigger vs pay 2k off roster fee for the legion

I haven’t seen a 220 legion local yet so there is the rarity aspect

At one time I owned both. They shoot pretty much the same since they are same gun after all. Compared to the "elite" models that come with the beavertail and SRT, the only advantage of the legion is the smaller controls that will not interfere with the thumbs forward grip.

Since I already owned an elite model, I just put in the Legion control parts on it. I then sold my Legion model since I prefer stainless over alloy frame.

Here are my stainless elites p220 (full and carry version) with Legion control parts.
