Something I found for $100.00 the other day

A High-Standard Sentinel 8" revolver that chambers 9 long, short, longrifle 22 cal. This has all the paperwork and the box with the date on the paperwork of 1956. I guess a good deal for $100.00 that is if you like 22 cal pistols.

        aluminum frame?

those are good guns but be carefull when you open/close the cylinder as the rear pivot point in the frame can become egged out if you slam it shut too hard repeatedly.

That's a great price, especially with the box and docs. They're not particularly collectible, but having the extras is always a good bet.

I have 2 Sentinels - an old beater snubby, and a Sentinel Deluxe with long barrel and wood grips. Their DA triggers are long and stiff, but SA's not bad. Accuracy is only so-so, but they're fun plinkers. My kids loved the little snubby growing up, because it was easy to load and shoot.

I hope you bought that one - it's a far better .22 revolver than the other cheapies like the Rohm. That's the best deal you'll ever see in a $100 revolver - they tend to go for $200-250 these days.

Thanks for the resize! For $100 you can't go that wrong with a revolver and a .22 at that!! Cheap fun!! Any plans on taking her to the range?
