    Outstanding Work by Cifaldi 1911

During this past two year CCW cycle I carried a Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander in 45 and really liked shooting it and felt comfortable carrying it. Last February I wanted to carry a 1911 in 9mm in a commander size 1911 but there was nothing on roster. I ended up chatting with Mr. Cifaldi and bought a brand new Kimber Pro Carry HD II (ON ROSTER) in 38 super and sent it to him for conversion to mimic the Dan Wesson but in 9mm.

This is the link for the build work.

This is the link for the base gun used.

CALIFORNIA ONLY Suitable for use in variety of spaces available in .38 Super, the Pro Carry HD II has a stainless steel frame and slide and features a 4-inch barrel. These select models of Kimber pistols are designed to meet the strict California compliance requirements featuring high visibility loaded chamber indicators. However, these pistols are available in all 50 states for individuals looking for additional safety attributes to classic 1911 pistol designs

Brett installed a front sight for me, and I still miss the target, so the jury is still out

You have to adjust the nut that aligns the eyeball with the sight.

Sounds and looks like a great custom gun, skilled craftsmen like CF are worth their weight in custom 1911s that’s for sure.

Thank you for this. I always appreciate hearing the customers thought on the end results.

                      Thanks a lot, OP.

I was hoping to have some work done, but your post probably just added another 18 months to my wait time with all the other people who I'm gonna have to compete with now!

Kind of funny. I bought the same pistol some time ago, and called Brett. Asked him to do the same thing. He asked if I had called and spoken to him before. I guess it might have been you. He said he'd call me back when it as time for me to send him the pistol. Never heard back. Looks like he did good work for you! Congrats!
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?
