    1911 choice

What would be a good choice for full size 1911 either 9 or 45 with factory installed laser on Ca list?

Why do you want a laser?

    Springfield Loaded.

Although you should add purpose, CCW, Target, competition, etc to get a better answer.

Hogue grips offer a great collection of Laser Enhanced (LE) Grips. This might be a solution for you.

Buy the best 1911 you can afford. Save the laser for the mall ninjas.

Ditch the laser and apply the money towards the actual gun. Your budget would be helpful

You're already limited with what is available in CA. Don't limit yourself further by requiring a factory installed laser. Figure out the best 1911 for your needs. The laser can easily be added after purchase.

                  factory installed laser?????

Not to be rude or assume anything, but buy the cheapest 1911 you can find and figure out if it’s the platform for you ~

Buy the gun you want, put on a laser....

Wtf uses a laser though? I mean other than TV?!

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.

Just throw on a flashlight/laser combo or throw on the laser grips.

Do any 1911s actually come with a laser pre-installed from the factory that have made it on the CA roster and still remain on it today without dropping off? I'm not 100% certain but I don't think so.

Also, budget. 1911s on roster go as cheap as $400 and as expensive as $4000.

Factory installed laser means factory warning on side of gun. Tres ugly.

Crimson Trace also offer laser grips. One thing to consider is finding a holster that'll accommodate it since the laser portion gets in way of holster material. Probably better to get a railed 1911 like some folks are suggesting and then pick the light or laser you prefer.
