    USPC-SS in production again

    Ladies & Gents:

I was browsing GunBroker earlier today for USPC SS & bumped into a "brand new" one in .40sw with "AK" Date Code (2009).

Whether HK has decided to manufacture these beauties again for good or just a limited production run is beyond me, but I thought I pass this along since Hk has just extended the DOJ Cert on these guns thru 4/30/2010.

    Cheers

I have personally held these beauties and they look clean!! Been out for atleast a few weeks. Wish there was some full size SS though!

Still got this guy sitting in the safe NIB. Just waiting for the right time to break it in. Do the new ones have that lock mechanism integrated into the back strap or are those just full size models?

The newest one in my collection is dated AE (2004) & it has the locking mechanism built inside the magazine well/back strap area. I think it is safe to assume these will be the same.

I did notice the grip is stamped USP vs. HK USP on pre-08 models though.

          Attractive guns...

I've always liked the look of USPs with stainless slides, so I'm glad they are resurrecting these models. I've had two of them for a number of years.

Look like only the Compacts would be good to go in California.
