The Hillary hole is far worse, not only is it fugly but it also represents S&W caving in to political pressure and anti-gun legislation. It might as well be Hillary’s face LOL! The QR code on my new Colt is barely noticeable.

The Colt QR code is cosmetically ugly, the Smith lock has a negative affect on function.

Yeah, I never really understood the freak-out over the lock. I didn't even know ours (442 and 642) had them until I read how terrible they were on this forum. I just completely ignore them (no function issues).

I could care less about the lock. I’d never pay a dime more for a gun just because it was older and didn’t have it. I don’t care about the Q Code either, I bought a King Cobra and love it. It’s a tough life if you’re always getting bent out of shape caring about minor details that don’t matter...

It's a political thing for some people. Just like how they freak out over a democratic candidate, but willingly vote for a morally corrupt crook (who isn't even a good Republican by GOP standards).
