    CZ 97B Glossy Blue?

The CZ site has them pictured like this:

CZ 97 BD - Black Polyooat:

    CZ 97 B - Blue Polycoat

Is the blue really that color? Anyone have one?

I'm pretty sure it is a blued gun not blue polycoat. Mark

It's really a pretty blue, doesn't look anywhere like that picture... but it's nice.

It's just a nice polished bluing, one of the best I've seen for current manufacturers. It'd be interesting to see how well it holds up.

It's no old Smith or Colt bluing however...

I've seen the blued also - very, very deep blue and highly polished. There was a thread a few weeks ago about whether the blued version is OK for sale in CA, don't know that any conclusion was reached on it.

I have the matte finished one and I suppose for a defense gun that makes the most sense.

Doesn't look like it's on the approved list. :/

Keep in mind that the new version of all 97b's, including the glossy blue, have the forward slide serrations. Personally I like the long, clean look better. Wish I could find an old one as a project gun to refinish.
